Summary: It's been a year since Chaos was defeated and the world was saved. So, naturally, it's time for a reunion party, right?

About two weeks ago, an invitation was sent out via skyphone to all of the sky people of Gaia- and a select few natives, too. It invited everyone to Lindblum, for a one year anniversary celebration of Garland's defeat. Such an event couldn't pass by without a celebration, after all. Yesterday, airships had been sent out to the far corners of the world to pick up everyone and bring them to Lindblum. Even the most reticent and party-hating of adventurers won't be able to avoid this. It is a worldwide celebration. Besides, it's best to celebrate with friends.

The Lindblum castle is covered in decorations for the occasion. Most are plain and themed for the upcoming winter, though for some reason, moogles feature rather prominently. Tables set around the ballroom are covered with snacks and foods, from snowmen to more moogles to- are those cookies shaped like Garland on a chobobo? ... Maybe it's best not to ask.

In the center of the ballroom is a clear space for dancing, and musicians sit off to the side and play for those who want to dance. To the side, there are tables for those who are looking for a simple conversation or who are taking time to eat. And, of course, for those who want to get away from everything for a while, there are always places in Lindblum to slip away to. But why would you want to do that, when everyone is here?

Of course, Kain is more than willing to accept this plan. "Yes, that would be fine with all of us. We'd like that. I expect that we'll be spending a great deal of time in the sky in the near future." Which seemed like a fine plan to Kain, hunting and spending time with the dragons in flight.

That eases her mind considerably and she smiles, truly grateful. "Thank you, Kain. I know she will enjoy being in your care." He's a dragoon, after all, with his own dragon. What better companion than an expert?

The perfect companion, really, and Kain is one of those crazy cat ladies people who simply get along best with dragons. He'd probably just keep collecting them, but Zephyr is mighty possessive of him.

"Good... I look forward to having her with us... and I'm sure you'll enjoy your travels."

"Thank you, Kain. How fare Zephyr's other children?" Mjrn has kept meaning to ask, though she's not in touch with Ricard as much as she'd like to be. Perhaps there ought to be a dragon reunion, somewhere less populated....

"All are well. They've all grown to be every bit as strong and powerful as their parents... I see my father's very often." Of course, since they work together quite a lot on and off.

"This is wonderful news. Perhaps I will see them, as well. Those raising Zephyr's children ought retain some bonds." Mistral would appreciate that, too, she's certain.

Kain nods agreement, very much liking this idea. "Perhaps we should arrange soon for us all to meet together..." They could all ride together someday as well, too. Zephyr and her kin, owning the skies... he faintly semi-smiles about that.

Mjrn nods eagerly to the notion. "Aye. Whenever you wish to arrange this, you have but to mention and we will arrive." She sees Kain as the natural person to coordinate this, or Ricard. They were dragoons long before she became one, after all.

"I would be glad to." Although Kain sees his father as the one who should hold most respect out of them all... still, he's held command within the dragoons before, and knows how to handle such things.
